The Fish and The Bat: A Performance by Ricardo Woo (@woo.ricardo)and Robin Alicia-Clare Hoskins (@robieshots)

Saturday, August 23, 2:00pm

All of Earth’s creatures exist together in a harmonious eco system. As humans, we generally tend to forget that we are an integral part of this system rather than at the center. This performance explores the human anthropocentric perspective as we are inspired to choose one creature from water, and another from air. This concept is emulated in an abstract form with the performers’ mediums of expression - our voice, our gesture, our dance and our painting.

The Lost Traveler, performance by Bipasha Hayat

#BipashaHayat’s performance, which begins with #RabindranthTagore’s song ‘পথহারা তুমি পথিক যেন গো সুখের কাননে?’ ask a quiet but urgent question: aren’t we becoming lost-too entangled in man-made elements and technology-drifting away from our human qualities, from family bonds, and from the abundance of beauty that nature offers?
Leading Bangladeshi artist, actress, playwright and painter Bipasha Hayat (@hayatbipasha), unfolds within muslin drapes, invites audiences to participate, extending nature’s offerings toward the artist. In return, Hayat gifts the garlands, creating shared memories and tangible connections that honor generosity, fragility, and enduring human-nature bonds.
